Prandtl Number
The Prandtl Number is an intrinsic property of a fluid that describes which mechanism dominates heat transfer. Specifically, it is the ratio of momentum diffusivity (how quickly energy is dispersed by convection) to thermal diffusivity (how quickly energy is dispersed as heat).
